I’ve spent a great portion of this weekend, creating content for the Minimap art kit. Testing the various stuff now made me realize I need even more art, mainly parts that I didn’t anticipate for when using diagonal hallways together with vertical/horizontal ones. Shouldn’t take me more than an hour to create the additional pieces.
The exterior and interior symbols/tiles will come in two variants, one that look like the map was recently created, and a set that makes the symbols/tiles look worn. The worn look will be achieved by erasing them partially, making them look faded.
Below here is an example of how complex the maps can be, simply by placing the various art pieces together and partially ontop of eachother. What you see here is 100% made that way, no touch ups were made to the map afterwards:
